- 1 - You own all League profits
Earnings from media, sponsorships, licensing, and growth is owned entirely by the League's players and split according to a formula that is set by the players.
- 2 - You determine the rules of play.
Players collectively decide the rules that govern the game, from competition standards to safety policies. Changes are made through player voting, so the rules change only with player consent.
- 3 - You’re backed by brands, not owners.
Teams are branded as popular consumer brands. Players benefit financially from team branding fees paid by the consumer brands while retaining independence and collective control.
- 4 - You choose which team to play for.
In the Players Football League, players are not drafted or traded as if they were “owned”. Rather, each player works with his agent to find the team that is the best fit - similar to choosing a college team to play for.
- 5 - You grow your own brand and platform.
The league is designed to amplify individual players. Players retain full control of their own personal brand while benefiting from league visibility, media access, and brand partnerships with the team that they choose to play for.
- 6 - You play for yourself, not billionaires.
There are no private owners, so players compete for their own success. Superior performance benefits the people on the field—not outside investors profiting from their labor.
- 7 - Your health comes first – you control it.
Players control medical decisions, have access independent evaluations, and determine recovery timelines. No one is pressured to play hurt for competitive or financial reasons.
- 8 - You can join the League at age 18.
Players can enter the league at 18, without waiting years in an under-paid system. If you are ready to compete professionally, you can choose your path immediately. The league prioritizes player readiness over arbitrary eligibility restrictions.
- 9 - You help shape the future of football.
This league is built as a long-term model for professional football. Players help define standards for fairness, safety, and economics, shaping how the sport operates for future generations of athletes.
- 10 - You have the potential to earn more.
The PFL is designed to generate higher revenue-per-viewer through its unique team branding fees. And all league profits are distributed to players—not owners—so players harvest all of the economic value they create.
